Food was great and the service from Sophia was excellent. Even though we had a large group she was still very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this place and I hope you are as lucky as we were and get Sophia as your server.

Believe me when I say that this is one of the best restaurants in Dundee, and for the quality and quantity of the food you're getting the price point is excellent too. Service can be a bit patchy at times, I prefer being seated in the upstairs section because the team up there are a bit more friendly and on top of things, but it's hard to find fault when the food is this good. You should go, you won't regret it!

My first visit to Dundee and my friend decided to take me to this place for dinner since it supposedly is highly recommended. I love tapas and can't be in Spain right now so I was like hell yea!

The place has a wine and cocktail menu-the wine list was ok, the cocktail list was better. I got a drink called jack punch which was a couple of different rum with pineapple juice, was pretty good...definitely had a punch!

My friend and I ordered the tasting menu which was a mix of meat and seafood. We got so much food I couldn't eat it all. They have us around 15-20 little dishes to eat which included jamon, potatas bravas, chicken, hake, shrimp, kebab, cheese, and bread. The serving was good for two people and the food was good, some better than others. There was no one dish that screamed AMAZING to me... It was all pretty much had decent flavours. It is a good tapas place especially if you're in Dundee, just a bit out of the way if you're staying in city centre and don't have a car.

The staff were all nice and made sure we kept eating. Overall the place is a good spot to nibble on things while catching up with a friend or friends in Dundee.

Another trip and another truly excellent meal. This time we went for Sunday lunch and it was great.
Manchego cheese, olives, pork meatballs, beef croquettes, kebabs, potatas bravas etc.

All dee-list and receiving the nod from my Iberia-phile brother in law.

This place excellent, a real gem in the heart of Broughty Ferry!

      GO!

This place is the best thing in Dundee (until the V&A opens up that is).

The food was delicious, maybe 10 courses. I have food allergies but Philip's crew did a great job of not serving things that would send me to the hospital.

My mates liked the prawns and blue cheese puffs and I can vouch for the rest of the menu as being perfect!

I don't know what else to say other than to say to go here and be happy.

After a week straight of pub food in the Highlands this restaurant was an oasis for our palettes. We received a warm welcoming from the owner and were seated in the bar due to the restaurant upstairs being busy. We loved the set menu, no need to overthink choices and appreciated being asked about allergies and dietary restrictions. Tapa after tapa came out and they had a nice mixture of color, flavor, and spice. Traveling with teens can be tricky but they loved everything. Paired with the good food was shining service and leaving feeling the owner is now a friend. Go here, no joke,it's that good.

Found this place while passing through town. Delicious and unique. It's a lot of food so come hungry! But it's really good if you like trying a lot of flavors. I enjoy being brought chefs creations without choosing them - you know they will be special and fresh.

The food was amazing. I really liked just being served the food without having to choose, it made me try things I would never consider ordering that were delicious plus the surprise factor was quite novel. The waiters are really knowledgeable and friendly and they explained every piece of food we were served. It was also salsa night so as we were eating downstairs we got to see the people shaking it as a bit of entertainment for our meal.
As there were four of us and we had 2 bottles of cava I was pleasantly surprised with the bill.
There was also a TV with a really lovely scene showing on it that I thought was quite special and they had done well with the Spanish décor.

Great food, great authentic decor and Spanish staff willing to make it an experience rather than a meal.

"What's to say. The best tapas this side of Andalucía"

Reviewed 3 April 2014 via mobile

This is gonna be short. Simply turn up, tell them what you don't like and they'll concoct a tapas menu to your liking that will fill you to the gunnels and blow your socks off. The food is simply superb!

However, one thing that does differ from Seville is the service. No grumpy Espnól Hombré here. You'll get a full explanation of the dishes delivered with Spanish charm and a touch of Scottish humour - superb :)
