Desert Blossom Salon & Boutique

Cam is literally the best stylist I have ever had. I've been with her for a little over a year and she has never disappointed me. She does exactly what I ask and encourages me (but isn't pushy about it) to branch out every once in a while which I love! Going to her is an entire experience not only because of how hard she works but because of the Amazing conversation and positive attitude! 10/10 would recommend!! Check her IG out @hairbycamalyse!

I loves me a good bargain. In fact, so many people know this about me it will likely be engraved on my tombstone. So it's no surprise I'm a big fan of this little boutique slash hair salon. I mean, what's not to love about hearing really juicy hair-stylist gossip while trying on fabulous, inexpensive fashion?

I recently found myself in Blossom with some birthday cash burning a hole in my pocket. I saw an amazing black coat with white piping. It was well-cut, made of great fabric, and had sleeves actually long enough for my long-ish arms. But what was even more amazing was the price! $33 plus tax. And the best part was wearing the coat to First Fridays where a very well-dressed guy (yes, guy) positively gushed over it, exclaiming "I WANT that coat!" to his friends as they walked away. And wearing it to a high-end department store and having the ubiquitously snooty salesgirl say, "I love your coat! Is it Michael Kors?" Tee hee.

In a nutshell, Blossom has great style you're not going to see anywhere else at prices you can afford, even in *this* economy. (I also hear the salon is great; that's next on my list.)

I. AM. OBSESSED. Kimberly is the SWEETEST stylist I've ever been to. She was so helpful when I didn't exactly know what I wanted to do with my cut (which she did super last minute and did the most fabulous job!) She worked around my crazy schedule and got me in so quickly!

My hair is the cutest it's ever been. I'm crazy about it, and her, and the salon!

All I gotta say is...Tina ROCKS!

I'm always super nervous about where I get my hair cut. I have long hair and it's all too risky to just drop into any salon and get a "trim", but after getting referred to Blossom and talking with Tina, I knew I was in good hands! Great personality - put me to sleep during my blow out!

I absolutely LOVE my hair...definitely found my new spot and my new hair stylist! might I add...the salon is the CUTEST - Nice little boutique with a ton of cute accessories and summer dresses! love it!

I got a shag cut and asked for razor cut layers and a dry cut. I was trying no poo and was afraid the stylist, Corbie, would be grossed out but she was so nice. She gave me her suggestions on what cut would be best for no poo and no heat styling for the texture and thickness of my hair. I am really happy with the results even after my hair has grown out a bit. She really knew what she was doing and highlighted the natural waves in my hair. She told me what she was doing, listened to my input, and made sure the cut was turning out how I liked. When she finished with the shag, I wanted it a little harsher with more dramatic layers and she took my feedback and did exactly what I wanted. It's just a haircut but I love getting haircuts and trying new styles. Corbie paid attention to little details like my wave pattern to cut so everything lay flat and to tuck away my bangs so they weren't sticking out or in my eyes all the time. Loved the results, Corbie really knows what she's doing.

If you are looking for stylist Tina, I've moved Taffy Salon and Brow Bar. But definitely still shop the boutique. They have the cutest clothes and biggest selection going on down on Main street. Huge selection of Desert-themed stuff. I've bought so many pairs of saguaro earrings here. I've also bought some stuff for my house there too. It's like stuff you would get at the Old Brick House but they're open 5 days a week, and the prices are better. Cara and Brooke are awesome and friendly and knowledgeable and it's a very family friendly environment. I highly recommend!

I am obsessed! Let me just say, Brittany works miracles! I recently got my hair colored and got a Brazilian blowout along with a split end treatment and my hair has never looked better! Great service and I am definitely going to visit Brittany again! I'm in love with my hair

Been to Blossom a few times now - first time so that Kate could do my hair and the other times just to shop. I *totally* like the atmosphere there - it's laid back, casual, and most importantly, boutique-ie without the big price tag (actually prices were quite reasonable).

Kate B did my hair and I loved it, she was friendly but not in a 'fake' 'trying-to-make-small-talk-to-pass-the-time' way, and that always works for me. She did exactly what I asked of her.

The other time I was in there it was for a gift.. and I spent a lot of time browsing because they had SO many options.. and since the prices were good, I bought something for myself that I always get compliments on (a green coin purse with a big fabric flower on it). I also like that they have local designers and such, though I wish some of their purses weren't 'made in china'.

If I'm in the downtown Mesa area (which isn't very often), I like to stop by and just browse to see what new stuff they have.

Brittany is my absolute fave. She always accomodates my schedule. She is so fun to chat with and always has theee biggest smile!

Blossoms was a special surprise on my Mesa adventure. After a disappointing experience at Closet a la Mode I decided to wander around and wandered into this salon and shop. The whole front half is full of very cute and very cheap clothes. ($20 tops? $50 jeans?) There is a clearance room in the back, but you have to walk through the salon which I found to be somewhat awkward. The space is really cute and the sales associates were very friendly.
