Plenty of food choices in the old town as well and pubs and places to go for drinks and ice-creams. It was really packed when we went there last. I enjoyed the pizza frutti del mare and my coke after coming from the airport. Good with the trams which run so late and the special tickets. I can recommend it!

Oh no 03. sep. 2010Tidligere anmeldelseMir hat die Düsseldorfer Altstadt durchaus gefallen. Gut, es war mitten im Sommer, Anfang Juli.
Im Vergleich zu Machynlleth ist das dort alles "5 Sterne" oder mehr.
Wir fanden eine Pizzeria. Es gibt ja genug Gastronomie dort! Die Preise draußen waren dann aber leider ganz anders als auf der Karte. Das Essen, die Pizza mit Meeresfrüchten, war sehr gut.
Gefallen hat mir das Rheinufer. Blick auf das Wasser. Wir fanden einen 24 h REWE Markt, kauften einen sehr guten Wein und etwas Käse und hatten dann noch ein sehr nettes mitternächtliches Picknick.
Wie gesagt, ich kann das nur von einem persönlichen Erlebnis im Sommer bewerten. Schön war's!
Gute Verkehrsanbindung. Tolle Sache mit der S-Bahn auch zu später Stunde zurück zum Hotel.- 7. dec. 2021

Old buildings that date back to the 1600's, narrow streets that were not built for automobile traffic, and trams plus U-Bahn stations that make it easy to get around.
I spent most of my Düsseldorf time in the Altstadt. This is where (most of) it's at and more to come!

Nickie T.Irvine, USA7579512. apr. 2017So glad we decided to visit this place last night before our flight home. So full of life and fun. So many restaurants and bars to choose from. We caught the sunset if and it was beautiful. Wish we had another day to spend here.
