Headlam Hall Hotel & Restaurant

Out in the country Headlam Hall is situated in beautiful grounds which are lovely to stroll around after going to the health club or having a bite to eat in the restaurant. It is also home to a number of functions rooms, large and small, which are available for renting.
It is a great venue for weddings and boasts a tremendous menu. The staff are always very friendly and it is a hot spot for locals and visitors.

I recently attended a wedding here and everything about it was lovely. The grounds are beautiful and made for fabulous photos, all the staff were friendly and attentive and the food, both at main reception and evening buffet was very good.

My husband and I had our wedding recetion here and the staff could not have made our day more special if they had tried. We have returned several times since, often to take advantage of the superb food at lunchtime. An absolute bargain at £10 for 2 courses and the service offered to you by the fantastic staff is second to none.
The hotel has amazing facilities-a golf course and a bistro bar recently opened plus a spa and swimming pool. Guests staying at the hotel get automatic admission but members of the public can join and pay monthly-what a superb setting to travel to regulalry for your swim or gym session.
the hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and are lovely to walk around, especially on a good day. The team of gardeners keep the place looking beautiful at all times.

A lovely old house set in its own grounds, with spa and golf for the more energetic. The house itself, and the bedrooms are very well maintained in classic style. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed one of the best nights sleep for ages!
The staff are very friendly and efficient and, dare one say it these days, polite.
Our evening dinner was excellent quality, accompanied by a fine selection of wines. Breakfast the following morning was traditional English cooked, with the option of a continental breakfast or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Waiter service was friendly and efficient, even though there was a large wedding party also there.
We only stayed one night but would like to go back again.
